Jody Toman

Jody-Toman-2018LJody provides proposal and project writing services to the National Association of State Emergency Medical Services Officials (NASEMSO). She is currently the technical writer for NASEMSO’s special pathogen patient interfacility transport project. Jody’s background includes 13 years of government public safety experience, during which time she was responsible for proposal development, contract oversight, and project execution for a number of multi-million dollar federal grant awards. She also led the development of numerous emergency preparedness plans and development and execution of exercises to test these plans. Jody’s other professional experiences include working as a consultant to write funding proposals, develop emergency preparedness plans, and conduct capability assessments for public sector organizations, and as a nurse in the areas of public health and intensive care. Jody holds a BSN from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio; a MPH from the University of Illinois-Chicago in Chicago, Illinois; and an MA in Security Studies from the Naval Post-Graduate School in Monterey, California. Jody joined ASMI in 2017.
