Lara Peck is the Trauma Survivors Network (TSN) Program Advisor for the American Trauma Society. Lara is a school health and professional development expert who works with schools, school districts, and community partners to create healthy school environments. Her work focuses on supporting national office staff and TSN Coordinators as they implement and maintain the TSN at their local trauma centers. While serving in this role, Lara is also the Injury Prevention Coordinator and TSN Coordinator at Prisma Health Richland Hospital Trauma Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Lara earned a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics Education from Winthrop University and an MPH in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist with extensive experience in best practices related to professional development and technical assistance. Lara is a member of the South Carolina Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance and the South Carolina Association for the Advancement of Health Education, where she is currently president-elect. She joined ASMI in 2020.
