Membership Manager, Account Executive

Amy is an ASMI account executive and membership manager. She works primarily with the American Trauma Society (ATS) and the National Homeland Security Association (NHSA). As the ATS membership manager, Amy compiles, analyzes, and processes membership applications and payments, including reconciliations with the Finance Department; initiate and support membership recruitment and retention; identify new methods and strategies for recruitment and retention campaigns; conduct in-person outreach at events; and work with other staff to determine campaign effectiveness, including National Trauma Awareness Month, and Trauma Survivors Day. She also supports committees and implements a process to use ATS client data to inform strategic decisions and marketing plans. On the NHSA team, she works as the exhibits manager, responsible for all marketing, sales, and related details. Amy previously worked with ASMI as an account executive from 2000-2007 where she handled the meeting and conference planning for the State EMS Training Coordinators and managed federal contracts. Since 2016, Amy has been the director of operations for the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training where she has managed the day-to-day operations of the organization; provided governance support to the Board and volunteer committees; created processes to execute meetings and events; managed the elections; managed the awards program; conducted financial functions including budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll; and participated on the task force that developed a five-year strategic plan and roadmap. Amy holds a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a B.A. in Social and Rehabilitation Services from Assumption University. She joined ASMI in August 2022.
