ASMI is located in Falls Church, VA, a community of about 10,500 about seven miles from Washington, D.C., and inside the Capital Beltway.  Falls Church is situated between the employment and retail centers of Tyson's Corner and Seven Corners.  The city's downtown is located at the intersection of Virginia Route 7 and U.S. Route 29.

Falls Church is an especially convenient location within the Greater Washington region.  It is strategically located between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport.  The city's location makes it a quick 15-minute drive into downtown D.C.  ASMI Headquarters is only 1.2 miles from the East Falls Church metro stop on the orange line.

The DC Metro System links Falls Church to Union Station, the terminal providing Amtrak service along the Atlantic seaboard.  Destinations such as Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York can be reached via Amtrak with trains leaving hourly from Union Station.  Metrobus also provides regional service to Falls Church.

There are many sites to visit in the Washington area.  A few of the highlights include:

  • The White House, the U.S. Capitol, and the Washington Monument.  The museums of the Smithsonian Institution, including the National Air and Space Museum, the National Gallery of Art, the Museum of Natural History, and the Naitonal Museum of American History - and don't forget the National Zoological Park, home of the two baby giant pandas from China, Mei Xiang and Tian Tian.
