ASMI Services

Performance | Professionalism | Fiscal Management

An association management company provides a centralized office that serves as the client association's headquarters.  The overhead costs for this office are shared by many associations and professional societies.  In this way, association management company clients are able to enjoy and increase in resources - and often benefit from the latest in advanced technology and professional equipment - without a major capital investment.

ASMI provides many basic services that are required for clients to exist as 501 (c)6 and (c)3 not for profit associations.  Many activities are provided behind the scenes and are captured in our document, "Threshold Services for ASMI Clients."

Performance

ASMI delivers high-performance programs and services to people and organizations seeking superior services that are cost-efficient.  Comprehensive administration and management are our specialty, but we also offer periodic counsel and specialized or temporary services.

Working with multiple associations allows us to offer each client far more depth of expertise and experience in the many areas critical to success than a staff could afford to provide for a single organization.  What we learn for one client benefits all.

ASMI is experienced with planning and execution in these critical areas:

  • Procurement of federal and private contracts
  • Business Development
  • Strategic planning and visioning
  • Purpose, goals and objectives
  • Leadership structure and coordination
  • Organizational structure, including committee support and staffing
  • Meetings/exhibit programs and services
  • International development
  • Continuing education offerings
  • Fiscal management (see special section)
  • Membership recruitment/retention
  • Communications and publications
  • Government relations
  • Contracts management
  • Fundraising

Professionalism

ASMI offers a staff with solid education and experience in management and administration, accounting, government affairs, and office procedures.  We also maintain affiliations with additional human resources with special qualifications in law, statistics, art journalism, foreign languages, and other skills that add to the excellent blend of offerings for our clients.

ASMI has managed many government-funded studies and projects on topics such as disaster staffing, certification development for a profession, machinery, energy efficiency, marketing and technological analyses, and product liability systems.

We also have established independent educational, research and development foundations for our clients.
